On Thursday 16 June 2016, the first edition of the Orange Babies Family Dinner was a fact at the Hôtel Droog in Amsterdam. A private dinner for our loyal partners and sponsors, the Orange Babies Family, where we raised oven € 56.000,- for Orange Babies!
ORANGE BABIES POP-UP STORE

Bruut at the Orange Babies Pop-up Store, open exclusively for them. Here people were shopping for charity and guests got a touch-up at the M.A.C. Cosmetics Lip Bar. No less than 25 brands participated in the Orange Babies Pop-up Store, like TOMS, Mattijs van Bergen and Jan & Jacob.

UNIQUE ELEPHANT CUSTOMIZED BY HENK SCHIFFMACHER
The Orange Babies ambassadors also contributed significantly to the evening. Henk Schiffmacher customized a unique elephant from the Elephant Parade and Herman den Blijker offered an exclusive dinner. Both items were very popular in the auction. The evening was hosted by none other than Caroline Tensen. It’s a family affair!
EDUCATION IS KEY
Many children in Africa can’t go to school, although education increases their opportunities tremendously. That’s why Orange Babies supports a number of educational projects for children infected with HIV or directly affected by it. During the dinner a film was shown in which Brian, one of the children helped by Orange Babies, talks about how education changed his life. Within these educational projects Orange Babies provides the children with a school uniform, school articles and a proper education.
OVER € 56.000,- RAISED FOR ORANGE BABIES
This evening we raised over € 56.000,- for Orange Babies. Orange Babies has committed itself to pregnant women and mothers with HIV in Africa. Our goal is to prevent HIV transmission from mother to child and we also provide shelter for children affected by the consequences of HIV like orphans.
